Neither predator nor prey

“As an animal like any other who treasures his own peace and comfort, I do not wish to become another animal’s prey.

“As a human animal endowed with reason and moral judgment, I choose not to become any other animal’s predator.”

Climate change and civilization

“The impact of human-caused climate change will at first be incremental. Humanity will suffer, but cope. However, there will come a time when these negative impacts – extreme weather disasters, severe food shortages and starvation, epidemics due to emerging vector-borne diseases, mass climate refugee migrations, political upheaval, chaos and violent conflict – will come at so fast a rate and with such severity that humanity's coping capacity will be overwhelmed. And then civilization itself will be threatened with extinction.”
 – Albert Einstein

“I often learn from people I know to be truthful. I learn to better discern what is true from what is false by studying the words of people who are not.”

– Albert Einstein

“What's up with this ‘Mr. Bean’? Am I the only one who thinks he is not funny? It's like Jerry Lewis all over again.”
– Albert Einstein

Be Skeptical

“Be skeptical of experts and authorities and of those who question them.” – Albert Einstein
